HEllo Everyone!!
Last week was a really enlightening week for me
Firstly, it was the JJ oreintation camp
It was raelly fun and emo sia
Yes...it was super fun...all the cheerin water hose partys
haha no one cld beat that
but we all learnt something out of all the fun
teamwork......making frens and one tht struck me the most was apprecitaion...i teared
cos of the words mr leow said
It was about appreciating wat ya parents do for ya
but wat hit me was when he asked.....y is a flower beautiful.
i didn't know wat link was there but the answer really made me realize the point
it was becos the flower dies tht we appreciate its beauty.
he told us his story bout his mum and him. I really understood wat bein a parent maeant
fr, the scoldings to the arguments. another thing i learnt was tht
Good times fly fast and end quickly...nt bcos life sucks...but becos it allows an oppurtunity for more good times to emerge.....like if a flower never dies..wld u appreciate its bueaty?
juz like how i appreciate my frens...i really learned alot.
the next dae i was in city harvest church.
i learnt tht God may nt be giving us wat we want but instead wat we need...the times i mistrusted him...i am guilty bcos it really shows my lack of faaith...tht dae really struck me too
i was almost hating god for all tht i did nt get but yet...wati gt was a happy life....neva had i felt happier in my life thn on tht dae.......i learnt if god put ya in a tragedy..he wld be there to rescue u frm it.....alll these lessons i learnt made me realize hw much i m loved and appreciated...
and thnx gwen for inviting me there....and thnx to all jj people involved in orientation.
